Loyalty Programme FAQs

Getting Started

What is the Windsor Brokers Loyalty Programme?

The Windsor Brokers Loyalty Programme is a scheme designed to reward your commitment to trading with us by receiving points based on trading volume and certain account activities, which can then be redeemed in exchange for balance.

How does it work?
The Loyalty Programme is based on two factors: points and status. When you close lots or perform certain additional pre-determined tasks within your account, you are rewarded with a set number of points. At the end of each calendar month, the total number of accumulated closed lots to date will determine your status. The more lots you close, the higher your status will be. In return, the higher the status, the more points you will receive for each closed lot. There are four successive status levels, as seen below:
  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum
  • Diamond
Who is eligible?

All approved new and existing clients with a live trading account are eligible for the Loyalty Programme, irrespective of country of origin. All clients commence with the default ‘Silver’ level.

Do I need to sign up for the Programme?

No, all users with a live account are automatically enrolled.

Can I opt out of the Programme?

Yes. You may choose to opt out of the Programme – or to cancel your existing generated points – at any time. To do so, simply contact our Customer Support team.

What status level do I start at?

By default, all users are granted the ‘Silver’ status. At the close of the first full calendar month in which your account has been approved, your status will then be updated according to the number of lots that you have closed.

Can I still use my other bonuses?

Yes. Participation in the Loyalty Programme does not affect your eligibility to participate in other Windsor Brokers bonus schemes.

Points

How do I gain points?

Points are primarily gained by closing lots. The number of points you receive for each standard round lot depends on your status, and can be calculated as follows:

StatusPoints Per Round Lot
Silver0.2
Gold0.5
Platinum0.7
Diamond1

Example

If you are a client with a ‘Gold’ status level and you close 24 lots in a month, you will receive 12 points (24 x 0.5 = 12). Alternatively, if you are a client with a ‘Diamond’ status level, and you close 24 lots in a month, you will receive 24 points (24 x 1 = 24).

In addition, points are also granted for performing several other activities, as seen below:

ActivityPoints
Provision of all required documentation and KYC approval during the onboarding process2
What are my points worth?

Points can be exchanged directly for balance, with their value depending on the number of points to be redeemed . The point conversion value is as follows:

Total Redeemed PointsPoint value (USD)
Less than 100
10 to 99.991
100 to 999.991.2
1,000 to 9,999.991.5
10,000 and above2

For example, if you have accumulated 326 points, , you can redeem your points to the value of $391.2 (326 x 1.2 = 391.2). Conversely, if you have 1,200 points, , you can redeem your points to the value of $1,800 (1,200 x 1.5 = 1,800).

What if my account’s base currency is not in USD?

If your account is in a base currency other than USD, your redeemable points will be converted to balance accordingly using the current exchange rate against the USD at the time of the transaction.

How do I keep track of my points?

Your current number of points are clearly displayed in your User Portal under the ‘Loyalty Programme’ tab.

Is it possible to lose my points?

Yes. If there is no activity on your account for 6 consecutive months, then your existing points will be reset to zero and your status level will be reset to ‘Silver’.

How do I redeem my points?

Select the ‘Redeem Now’ icon in the ‘Loyalty Programme’ tab of the User Portal, and select the account that you would like to deposit the value of your points into.

Can I withdraw the value of my points?

Yes. You can redeem your points as balance once you have accumulated a minimum of 10 points.

Status

How is my status determined?

At the end of each calendar month, the total number of accumulated closed lots to date is used to determine your status for the following calendar month, as seen below:

Status

Total Closed Lots Required

Silver

0 – 19.99 lots

Gold

20 – 499.99 lots

Platinum

500 – 4,999.99 lots

Diamond

More than 5,000 lots

For example, if you accumulated closed 530 lots by the end of month of June, then you will be upgraded to the ‘Platinum’ status for July (as you have exceeded the threshold of 500 lots).

In the ‘Loyalty Programme’ section of the User Portal, you can also view the predicted status for the following month based on your existing balance of points.

When does my status change?

Your status is automatically updated at the start of each calendar month based on the total number of lots

What is the difference between loyalty statuses?

The key difference is that each status level allows you to earn increasingly more points per lot closed, as well as the redemption value of the collected points.

For example, if you are a client with a ‘Gold’ status level, you would be entitled to 0.5 points per round lot. If you closed 12 lots in a month, you would accumulate 6 points (12 x 0.5 = 6).

However, if you are a client with a ‘Platinum’ status level, you would receive 0.7 points per lot. Therefore, if you closed 12 lots within the month, you would receive 8.4 points (12 x 0.7 = 8.4).

What if I have more than one trading account?

Status and points are awarded based on the activity of all your trading accounts.

Therefore, if you close 300 lots on one trading account, and 250 lots on another trading account, then you will have closed 550 lots for that month and will be awarded ‘Platinum’ status for the following month.

Similarly, if you accumulate 6 points in one trading account, and 4 points in another account, then you will have acquired a total of 10 points for that month.

Is it possible to lose my status?

Yes.

If your account is inactive for 6 consecutive months, then your status will be automatically reset to ‘Silver’ and points will be cancelled.
